Coen is a practical and business-oriented lawyer and innovator who enjoys the challenge of increasing quality of and control over legal practices. He advises businesses and boards of directors of (international) organisations on legal and compliance matters, such as restructurings and transactions, legal documents, and (high-risk) compliance/onboarding. He also advises on clinical trial related legal matters. Coen has worked in international corporate law, high-tech and software engineering.

Aside from the daily legal practice, Coen spends his time creating legal tech software. He is an alumni of the UtrechtInc tech validation program with LegalKit, a software framework for lawyers to automate legal analyses and document creation.
